As an owner of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare2 I have to say that the first person shooter genre of the video gaming industry has it all wrong. COD: ModernWarfare2 is not the best fps game. In my opinion COD: ModernWarfare2 is a fps game that purely stresses muscle memory and speed of killing, their is little strategy as the game is modeled from the perspective of special operation forces. Online game play is repeated killing for nothing more than points/scores.. it gets old fast. Battlefield Bad Company 2(BFBC2 ) on the other hand is modeled from the perspective of an average soldier and is much more team and goal oriented online game play. However one significant draw back is that only single player is allowed per console. In order to play multi-player you will need a second console and a local or internet network to play together. That is the one area COD: Modern Warfare wins out(you can have up to four people per console). Anyhow, Battlefield Bad Company 2 also wins significantly in graphics and engine performance as the whole gaming environment is destructible and "sand-boxed"; one can blow up houses, drive tanks through fences and trees, topple a sniper's building on top of him.. etc. (BFBC2) doesn't get boring, as strategy on how your gonna kill your enemy dominates/endures over speed of killing them as is so in COD: ModernWarfare2.
