How to Get a Tactical Nuke in Call of Duty - Modern Warfare 2

Image : http://www.flickr.com

I am going to describe 2 different methods for getting a tactical nuke in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. But first, let's go over some basic tips and tricks that will get you on the way to launching your first tactical nuke on the enemies.

Use a sniper rifle or assault rifle with a scope. Use whatever scope fits you and the map the best, but I recommend ACOG or thermal.
Have the Harrier Strike, Chopper Gunner/AC130, and Tactical Nuke 25 Kill Streak unlocked before you enter the game. This is the most important part.
You can choose whatever perks fit you, but you must have the Scavenger Perk or you will have to run out to the battlefield in order to get new weapons.
Play in Ground War. If you are in a small game the enemies might not respawn (Search and Destroy), or will be less plentiful to kill.
Get ready to be frustrated. Whether you get killed at 6 kills in a row or 24 kills in row, this will take a long time. A tactical nuke will not just fall in your lap, you have to persevere.

The Chopper Gunner Way

This is my favorite way to get your nuke to win the game. First you must find a really good spot that can be easily defended, hard to find/see, and bulletproof (think concrete walls). Once you rack up 6 kills call out your Harrier

Strike on an enemy infested area. This should get you a couple kills, and through sniping you will get to chopper gunner. Make sure there are no enemies around you and go into prone in a safe place. If you prefer the AC130 you can use that, but I prefer the Chopper Gunner.

Use the Chopper Gunner to destroy the enemy and to get yourself in the 20 kill streak range. Play it safe once you are his far and achieve your tactical nuke through more sniping. Congratulations!

The Hard Way

Repeat the previous way by getting a Harrier Strike and getting a few kills until you get a Pavelow. The pavelow is a powerful weapon but I don't recommend replacing it with your chopper gunner/AC130. This might get you to a tactical nuke if you are lucky!

Progression of Your Bjj Belts in Jiu Jitsu

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is a martial art which is performed on the ground and is also a means of self defense. This particular art was taken from the Japanese martial art of judo in the 20th century and thus was thus modified to make this art.

It was Maeda, Japanese who set out to spread the art of judoka all over the world, accepted the art of this martial art when he was on his tour. A businessman sponsored for him and got him established. The children of this businessman were the expert learner of this art and then became undisputed champions. They are known to be the founders of this art and thus named it after their country of Brazil and thus it is known as a Brazilian art.

While this is one of the best forms of martial arts, you have to work hard and with determination to be able to learn the art. It takes years of hard practice to perform the art without mistakes and getting hurt. This is an art which also teaches the weak and the small physique people to defend them against the strong with a mere use of technique.

The progression of the Bjj Belts happens at a very steady pace. The person should learn each level of the art to acquire the belts and also be the finest performer to gain the biggest belt, the black belt in this art. There are different belts given to juniors and seniors. Each level has a different color belt which is given to the learner when he achieves that level of training. This art has now been made world famous and many competitions take place of this art. It is a much liked game in Brazil but is also played in many countries where martial arts are encouraged.

Bjj is a form of the art which is slightly different from Japanese Jiu Jitsu. However, there are many things that are common among the two forms. Bjj Belts are given to signify the levels of learning in both these forms. The same system of grading belts is used. There are many schools of martial arts which have been opened to specially teach the Bjj Kimonos and also schools which teach other forms of martial arts along with this form.

The progression of the Bjj belts happen when one learns a higher level of the art and is more skilled in the art of performing it. There are open competitions held for this purpose and even titles are given to the champions. This shows that the art is wide spread among many countries. However, this art should not be performed beyond a particular number of times. It should be learnt only from a certified training coach who has been approved by the authorities of the country. A lot of care should be taken while performing this art. The art should not be tried without supervision for the first as the movements dine is a wrong way can affect the body adversely.

The Basics of Ordering Espresso Coffee Drinks For Beginners

Back in the day, the only people youd find in an espresso bar would be people who knew what they wanted to order and how. In serious coffee towns like Seattle, Portland and New York City anyone who entered the realm of gourmet coffee was there for a reason"they wanted something better than the cup of Joe at the doughnut shop. Espresso bars in other cities served a niche population who understood the concept of gourmet coffee and sought out these establishments.

Today, espresso bars are ubiquitous in any decent sized city or town. Thats a good thing for those of us who like espresso, but has presented its own set of problems. The problem Ive encountered at establishments that arent in traditional espresso country is that far too often the customers are neophytes who not only dont know what they want but dont understand the entire concept of espresso. Frequently, lines will ensue not because the staff isnt pulling shots quickly enough or that theyve got too many customers but because some clueless newbie is hemming and hawing over what to order.

For the benefit of espresso newcomers here are some tips that will help you get what you want, as well as helping the staff at your local espresso bar keep things moving along at an orderly pace.

--Know what you want beforehand. You should have a few drinks that are your drinks, and order those more often than not. For example my drinks are a Latte with an extra shot served either iced or hot depending on the weather. Occasionally, Ill have a cappuccino or a shot or two of espresso. If you want a specific sort of milk (soy milk, skim milk, etc.) ask for it when you order. The barista may ask you what kind of milk youd like"answer quickly or, if it doesnt matter just say so. Typically, youll get 2% or some other default selection. Also, make sure to know what size you want. I usually get a tall at most espresso bars and a venti at Starbucks, which are the largest sizes they offer. The espresso bar"as the name implies"isnt very different in concept than the alcohol bar: they basically offer the same things (or they can all make the same thing) with some unique in-house specialties. You wouldnt go to the bar at the Ritz-Carlton or other classy establishment (or, for that matter, even a dive bar) and expect the bartender to explain the entire concept of cocktails, explain whats in a martini and so forth.

--Dont take your kids to an espresso bar. This is not only for the benefit of those of us who dont want to listen to your screaming spawn, but for the benefit of kids themselves. Kids dont want to drink coffee. Take them to Baskin-Robins or somewhere theyll actually enjoy. If you must take them, the same rules apply"they should know what they want or you should know what they want. A lot of espresso establishments serve soft drinks, and if they dont most can whip up an Italian soda. In any case, dont expect the barista to provide a list of kid-friendly drinks. Thats not their job, and youre holding up the line. Also, keep in mind that many people come to espresso bars to work, read, engage in conversation, or just enjoy a few minutes of downtime. Nothing spoils this faster than crying babies, obnoxious brats running all over the place, or ill-mannered pre-teens giggling and cutting up. Make sure your kids behave themselves"its a good opportunity to teach them the basic concept of how to behave in establishments and situations that require some semblance of deportment. Unfortunately, far too many parents think the whole world is one big half-price pizza night at Chuck E. Cheese and that there are no guidelines for the behavior of their children. Dont be one of these poor excuses for parental role models, and try to teach your kids how to behave in the world from an early age. Everyone will be better off for it.

--Make sure that you tip the help. Being a generous and enthusiastic tipper in general helps lubricate your passage through lifes tight spots, and nowhere is this more important than at your local espresso bar. Some places will have a tip cup on the counter, others wont. Barnes and Noble, for example, wont let their coffee bars have tip cups on the counter but they do accept tips. Not only is tipping the decent thing to do, but it is an investment"particularly in any place that youll be patronizing regularly. A dollar toke for the counter help will ensure that your order is prepared quickly, accurately and courteously. Do this enough and youll find that things that other folks pay for"extra shots of espresso, soy milk, etc."will be comped. If you go to a place on a daily basis, or even several times a week, its a good idea to throw in a big tip every now and then. Give them $10 at Christmas, for example. It will pay dividends throughout the year, and youll quickly become a favored customer.

--If you want your drink made a certain way, explain it while you order. This implies you know what youre doing and should not be confused with stammering around about espresso basics. The good news is that most of the big chains like Starbucks and Barnes and Noble train their help to make a decently consistent drink. Theyre taught to follow a procedure, however, and if you want your drink done a certain way that isnt standard operating practice youll need to explain what you want. Most baristas can capably comply and happy to do so, but they cant read your mind. Nor should you assume that there is a standard way to make any drink. In a perfect world there probably would be, but the reality is that no such standards exist.

--Finally, the word is ES-PRESS-O and NOT EX-PRESS-O. Theres no X in the word. Regardless of how much or how little you know about coffee, theres no excuse for stupidity.

Fighting Stick Games

As you may or may not know, fighting Stick games have become incredibly popular amongst people who spend a lot of time behind the computer. What you also need to understand is that everybody needs a break. It is unrealistic and unhealthy to assume that you can spend a majority of your time sitting behind a computer without really stopping to get any recreation or do anything fun or interesting. When you engage in Stick fighting games, you are giving yourself the opportunity to have a lot of fun while at the same time testing your skills.

What a lot of people seem to forget is the fact that you are doing more than just playing the game when you sit down to enjoy fighting Stick games. In fact, you are ultimately testing your skills in a way that very few people ever have the opportunity to do. As you can imagine, many people will tell you that playing computer games is not a productive use of your time. However, these people are looking at things from a very narrow standpoint. In other words, you need to look at things from a wider view to understand that fighting Stick games can actually be a really big and important part of your day.

Something else to take into consideration is the fact that fighting Stick games can also provide you with a great deal of entertainment. Let's face it, it is really important that we fill our days with things that are fun and entertaining. It cannot simply be work all day. Therefore, in the final analysis, fighting Stick games should be added to your daily list of things that you are involved with. Not only will it make you more productive, but it will also help make life a lot more fun and interesting.

Call of Duty 4 Tricks

Image : http://www.flickr.com

First lets start with picking out a good kit. This is what I use, its the most effective perk set for an aggressive MP5 Player.

Perk 1: Bandolier or Frag x 3
Perk 2: Stopping Power or Juggernaut
Perk 3: Steady Aim or Deep Impact

MP5/M4 with Red Dot Sight work well. Make sure you have these console commands if you don't already.

"/com_maxfps 125" - Some things in the game don't work correctly if your not at 125 fps.

"/cg_fov 80" - Increases how much you can see at one time, default is 65 you should notice a big improvement.

"/maxpackets 100" - Goes hand in hand with maxfps command.

"/snaps 30" - Increases how much you communicate with the server per second makes your game smoother and hits register better.

Try to get into the habit of dropping your pistol for a real gun. It will save you many times over.

Don't forget to mix up your play over the course of a round. Never play the same spot every round, your prone to get grenaded or wall spammed. People are smart so you have to mix things up. If you're playing aggressive always take new routes and when they get used to you rushing don't walk into their traps, go defensive.

PC players should use the demo feature. Recording demos is a great way to become a better player. See what works and keep doing it, and see whats killing you and fix it. Demos are a great tool for competitive players.

Try to use your grenades early in the round, you don't want to die with a nade you could have scored an easy kill with. Grenades might be annoying but there's no sense in wasting free kills!

The Origin of Muay Thai - From Deadly Combat to Modern Sport

The complete origin of this devastating martial art, and now respected athletic competition, is unclear. It is safe to say however, Muay Thai, or "Thai Boxing", was developed in Thailand as a hand-to-hand combat method to protect individual communities. At the time, only short-range weapons like knives, clubs and spears were used during armed combat. Loss of a weapon during a battle was not uncommon. This is where Muay Thai combat techniques proved their worth. This art, as opposed to other hand-to-hand combat arts, utilizes, not only fists and feet, but the head, elbows, knees, and shins, for debilitating strikes during the fight. During combat you would likely see a warrior incorporating crushing headbutts, violent punches, and crippling kicks to the legs, head and groin. It is one of the only unarmed combative styles that has been considered just as brutal as the armed combat techniques it replaced. However, more recently, Thai Boxing has become a regulated sport recognized around the world that uses safety equipment such as mouth guards, gloves and groin protection. And just like boxing, wrestling and MMA, Muay Thai competitions have weight classes for the competitors. When Muay Thai competitions first began there were no weight classes. Competitors simply needed to display the will to fight. Furthermore, Sport Muay Thai no longer allows the kind of strikes and attacks that other modern combat sports have made illegal, such as headbutts or strikes to the groin.

Modern competitive Thai Boxing, an exciting and fascinating sport on its own, has also been an integral part of mixed martial arts (MMA) events such as the UFC and now is considered a necessary component to a mixed martial artist's arsenal. The Chute Boxe Team from Curitiba, Brazil, is famous for their punishing and aggressive style of Muay Thai. One team member and expert at the art, Anderson "The Spider" Silva, has received a frenzy of media attention after competing and winning easily against some of the best MMA fighters in the world. The main techniques in mixed martial arts training that are taken from Muay Thai are from the clinch, a position in which fighters are in close contact and attempting to control their opponent's body, especially the head. From the clinch, some Thai Boxing techniques include, knees to the body and head and elbow strikes. The clinch is also used in mixed martial arts training to control the opponent in the ring and against the cage for, not only striking techniques, but also to set-up takedowns and throws to bring the fight to the ground.

As previously noted, although Muay Thai originated in Southeast Asia, Muay Thai training has been recognized around the world as an important component of the martial arts community. With the popularity of mixed martial arts growing in the United States, martial arts schools in many major cities across the country host not only mixed martial arts training, but also Muay Thai St Louis, Chicago, Los Angeles, Miami, and New York included. If you are interested in mixed martial arts training or simply Muay Thai training, the Internet is a great resource for finding information about the schools and instructors in your area.

You can play as the ex-Buick spokesperson or any number of other professional golfers in PGA Tour 09. If that bores you then create your own human being or likeness of yourself or Luke Skywalker to dominate the golfing rink. Round after round you drive balls with force into holes (heh heh...), use irons and pitching wedges and putters and crush the opposition without mercy. 18 holes of Ninja Golf? Not this time buddy, this time is 18 holes of EA Sports golfing action gameplay requiring the gamer to master numerous gold courses and winning strategies. Classic Game Room may usually review games with laser beams, space ships and ninja assassins. Today we review GORF... GOLF! CGR already reviewed Gorf and that's a good game. Even better than this one actually. Classic Game Room is the ultimate retro and new school reviewer reviewing modern and classic video games for new gamers and retro gaming aficionados today. For PGA Tour 2010 we request ninjas, laser beams and space ships. It's a hole in one of footage! This review of PGA Tour 09 is for the Wii but this game is also available for Xbox 360.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 1 and 2 - Review

Image : http://www.flickr.com

Well first of all I have to admit that I am biggest fan of first person shooting games. When it comes to the Call of Duty modern warfare I think all you guys out there must heared of it somehow. Before modern warfare previous Call Of Duty series game are in fact all based on world war 2 scenario. Modern warfare is a new entry to the Call Of Duty series with its own storyline.

In Modern warfare 1 you are chasing a man name Imran Zakhaev which is a ultranationalist and weapons dealer selling old soviet nukes to people like khalid-Al-Asad who used one of the nuke during the Event of "shock and Awe". He want to bring Russia back to its Soviet union glory days. During the Events your team capture khalid-Al-Asad and discover that Imran Zakhaev is still Alive and hiding. So you chase after his Son Viktor. His Son commits suicide after a chase. The death of Viktor brings Imran Zakhaev out of hiding to take Revenge now he is after a Russian Nuke Site. I like the ending part of the game when you have to shoot Imran Zakhaev with a pistol.

In Modern Warfare 2 General Shepherd was in command of the Marine force that was decimated by Al-Asad's bomb. He believes the world was indifferent to the loss, and hatches a plan to make the US a superpower once again, with himself as Supreme Commander.

He sends your character (PFC Allen) to infiltrate the Russian Ultranationalists (now under Makarov's command), but Shepherd secretly breaks your cover as Borodin. Makarov shoots you dead so others can tie your American body to the airport shooting, giving Russia a reason to invade the US.

Your character (Pvt Ramirez) returns to America with Sgt Foley during the Russian invasion. The Russians have so far been successful because most of the American forces were already deployed abroad. Russia has air superiority until Capt Price uses a nuclear missile to EMP the area.

Shepherd also uses Task Force 141 (Soap, Price, and crew) to help his plan along until the deception is uncovered. Your character (Sanderson) and others are killed by Shadow Company, but Soap, Price and Nikolai are able to escape and get revenge on Shepherd for the betrayal. I also like the Modern warfare 2 ending when have to kill shepherd with a knife.

The story line seems pretty much intense the graphics of modern warfare 1 and 2 is truly good from its previous series and the additions of high tech weapons makes its more interesting. Modern Warfare 2 also add a category called solo mission in which you have to complete different missions in extreme conditions.

Hope you Enjoyed both the games as I did.

God of War 3

Image : http://www.flickr.com

The much anticipated console game, God of War 3 has finally arrived much to the delight of eagerly awaiting fans of the action genre. The game was officially released on the tenth of March to much fanfare.

In terms of the story, it continues where the story ended in the previous installment, God of War 2. You play the role of Kratos, a former champion of the gods that attained godhood at the expense of the former god of war, Ares.

God of War 3 sees you continuing your desire to destroy Zeus. But this time, you are not alone. With the threads of fate, you have brought along with the once defeated titans. And leading them, is Gaia. This is where you start your journey, on the living world, Gaia.

In terms of the way the game plays, it is very much similar to the two previous installments on the PlayStation 2. Over the top gore and action is the primary theme all parts of the series, not just God of War 3. The story is well fleshed out with similarly challenging tasks ahead of you.

Your weapons of choice, Athena's blades, are still made available in the beginning. However, they undergo a name change to the Blades of Exile. It's the same weapon with a different name. A big change to this game is the variety of weapons now available to Kratos.

The games received very favorable reviews from both the fans and critics. The average score it received from reviews fall in the ninety percent range. Needless to say, Sony has another bestseller on its hands with fans lapping it up. Already, there are videos on YouTube with the popular battles that Kratos undergoes in the game.

PS3 Games Patent

Image : http://www.flickr.com

Speculations about alleged prohibition of second-hand sales of PS3 games and PS3 consoles have circulated in the past months. These rumors were fueled by market reviews about Xbox 360 consoles beating the Blu-ray-optimized Sony consoles in sales come November. Naturally, the company would employ all measures to maximize individual sales of PS3 games and their new consoles. No confirmation nor denial was heard from the Sony camp, but now, the speculations seem true with the technology patent Sony had procured.

Sony patented a technology - probably, a software - that could prevent use of borrowed PS3 games, rented consoles, and resale of game software and digital hardware. This undisclosed technology was patented five years ago in Japan but Sony had remained quiet about it. Queries about proprietorship are now prevalent, reminiscent of the hullabaloo about Digital Rights Management. Whether the electronics giant attempts to change the concept of ownership in the digital arena or not is not yet clear.

Presently, no information has been released about the software and its uses. But there have been scattered rumors that Sony may incorporate the software in the upcoming PS3 games and consoles. There would be time enough for Sony to address this before the games and consoles' release in November. Market analysts have agreed that it is rare for an electronics and technology company to patent new technology without the intention of using it in their new products. If this is true, then the $1 billion- worth industry of used consoles and games is endangered. Social gaming is also at risk because the new technology might prevent game-sharing. This means that gamers can't come over to their friends' houses to share a new game or simply to play together.

Documents filed by Sony describe a process of game system copy protection. According to the papers, game systems would verify the legitimacy of PS3 games and register the codes to a particular console. Other than this, the verification codes would be deleted after registration, making the discs unreadable in other PS3s. The process will effectively prevent resale of the game discs and console exchanges. Sony had kept other plans and details about the technology but Wedbush Morgan industry analyst, Michael Pachter, suspects that the company is toying with the idea of patented games. Pachter also pointed out that the competition from Microsoft might discourage Sony from tightening software security for game discs. The most likely targets of this new technology are internet-based and downloadable PS3 content like music and movies.

Whatever the electronic giant's plans are, the new technology manifests changing ownership trends when it comes to digital content. Even if gamers buy their consoles at $600 or their PS3 games for $100, they do not own it. They cannot reproduce or share it with their friends because Sony is still the ultimate owner of the software. No matter how much they shell out, they are just buying the license to use the software. Sure, the copy protection patent will make it difficult for pirates to manufacture counterfeit software but it does so at the expense of the gamers. Analysts are right not to put patenting software above Sony because the company was once involved in trouble because of this. It can be recalled that downloaded music from Sony has an accompanying software that installs itself automatically in computers to prevent copying and reproducing files. Though Sony later apologized, the software had already inconvenienced thousands of users. Copy protecting PS3 games would put Sony, the PS3, and the gamers at a disadvantage.
