Developed by Sony Computer Entertainment Worldwide Studios, JAPAN Studio, The Eye of Judgment presents a new style of gameplay where collectable trading cards, embedded with a CyberCode, are brought to life in the 3D game through use of an innovative "9 Fields" battle mat and Playstation Eye. Players compete by selecting a card and placing the coded card in front of the Playstation Eye for their respective creatures to come to life and battle on screen. Players take turns placing cards as they jostle for control; the winner is the first player to conquer five of the nine squares of the "9 Field. Players have four ways to play The Eye of Judgment: single player against their PS3, against an opponent in two-player mode, against an opponent online, or letting the PS3 play out a round with the cards the player owns. The Eye of Judgment comes with a starter deck of 30 character and spell cards manufactured by Hasbro. Pre-constructed decks and booster packs, sold separately in stores, can be purchased to strategically build the perfect deck using the 110 cards unique cards available. In this pre-constructed deck, you receive 30 cards. Ive heard people complain about what was included and that there is dupes. Well, 1st of all, Each theme deck contains the Hero card of each elemental theme (which cant be found anywhere but theme decks), with the exception of the Biolith deck. The Biolith deck has the Biolith dragon, but Tino, son of Scion can be found in booster packs. In the Biolith Scourge deck you will not receive Tino the Hero, Instead you will get the Ouroubus Dragon. It is a very powerful card and it has some good abilities. In addition to the Biolith Dragon, you will recieve about 8 other Biolith creatures, and a few of the other element creatures. I know it might sound dumb to include other elements in a Biolith themed deck, but the deck tried to concentrate on Biolith creatures atleast. .99 isnt bad for this deck, and the Dragon cards alone sell for that amount or over. This deck can be used right out of the packaging with no modifications, and you can start playing with it against a friend or online.

Eye of Judgment

Eye of Judgment Review

With the upcoming Sony Magic Wands (or whatever they are called) coming out I figured I'd invest in an Eyecamera. That's when I stumbled across this game which came with the camera. I bought the game, then went on eBay to score some extra cards. It takes a while to be able to beat the game, but after a while strategy sits in and you get better at it. If you can't beat the game at the easiest setting you need more practice.

There have been 3 updates to the game so if you go online to download the updates (to use cards from decks 2 and 3) be warned, it's massive. Do your update last thing at night and leave your PS3 to download the update overnight.

You can still buy cards, and there is still a functioning community out there, but don't expect to hop online and pick up a game with someone.

I haven't really had problems with card reading, as I set up the game with low light levels. Once when a card wasn't being read, I actually lowered the light levels and it was more readable!

Anyway, if you are in the market for an Eyecamera and you enjoy strategy games, don't be afrisd to give this a try.

I am a big fan of Biolith decks and have bought both premade decks. If you own Both of them AND boosters from both sets (booster packs as well as 2 theme decks) you get the BIOLITH BATTLESHIP ULTRA RARE in this 30 card deck and a few other good bioliths but if you really want to use the high end biolith monsters and get them out quickly, then also invest in the Biolith Scourge deck to grab the ultra Ouroubus dragon! then with a few boosters (perhaps a phantom rare) this will make your minions look unstoppable and they're a blast to play!
5 stars from me. (as an add on to the boosters and starter deck only)
