MW2 Killstreaks

MW2 Killstreaks are the best add on from Call Of Duty:Modern Warfare. You gain killstreaks by getting a certain number of kills in a row without dying. There are many different types of killstreaks and their all available to view at the menu in MW2 multiplayer.

At first you start out with UAV and Care Pakage and as you go up levels you will unlock your choice of killstreaks. With the care package what ever you get unfortunately wont count towards your streak but will of course give you XP. Care package's carry everything from ammo to supposedly the Nuke. I've only heard you can get the Nuke in a care package I've actually never seen it and if does in fact come in a care package its very rare. The Nuke is normally obtained by getting 25 kills in a row without dying. It takes out everyone, even your team and you can get it in any game mode, but it has to be selected in the killstreaks section in order to get it. It is the best MW2 Killstreak.

At the start with your first unlock I suggest Predator Missle or Sentry Gun. Reason being the both require 5 kills and you will be gradually be working your way up. With Predator your likely to get 1 or 2 kills but this can be fired from a nice safe area. You wont be able to see people with cold blooded equipped and can be shot down but it's very hard. The Sentry Gun however could get you a lot more kills if placed in the right high traffic area but leaves you vulnerable to getting killed when placing it and leaving the enemy to easily destroy your Sentry Gun. Sentry gun's can be temporarily disabled with stun grenade or flash grenade. They can be destroyed with grenades, launchers, shooting it a lot of times or can easily be knifed. If coldblooded is equipped the Sentry wont be able to see you and they cant see through smoke.

After a while when you have got better at aiming and get more kills without dying select Harrier or Attack Helicopter, both reqire 7 killstreak. The Harrier drops a load of bombs on the selected area then hovers and kills anyone in its view, who doesn't have coldblooded equipped. The Attack helicopter is pretty good because it flies around the whole map also killing anyone without cold blooded. The Harrier is easier to shoot down than the Attack Helicopter. They will both go towards your next killstreak.

Next at 9 kills is the Pave Low. This is a heavy duty version of the Attack Helicopter and there's a better chance of getting more kills. This is a personal favorite at the moment. At 11 kills are the Chopper Gunner or AC-130 both very lethal, especially the Chopper Gunner. They are very hard to shoot down because they let out flares andthey can be the decider for any game making it the second best MW2 killstreak behind the nuke.
